Vinayaka Chathurthi is one of the important festivals celebrated by hindu people.It is celebrated as birth day of lord ganesha.usually it comes on the 4th day of lunar calender Bhadrapada- Shukla paksha,first fortnight every year.Images of  lord ganesha is made by the people on this auspicious day to worship the god.This clay images are immersed in water at the end of the festival.modakam a special sweet is prepared by the devotees which is the considered as the favourite for lord ganesha.
